Chicago--June 2010

I had two events for work in Chicago--which is my FAVORITE city, so I was thrilled to go.  BUT what made it even better, was that we got to go in a private plane!!!  I was so excited, I have never even been in first class, much less a PRIVATE JET!!

Freedom of the Seas

In May, Brent parents, my parents, my grandma, my cousin, and Brent and I went on a 7 day Caribbean Cruise!!  We went to Cococay, Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten!  We were on Freedom of the Seas, which is the 2nd largest ship out now!  We had a blast!!

This is dad and Brent riding Flowrider on the ship.

In St. Maarten, Dad, Brent, Wendy and I went racing on sailboats.   We were on Canada II and we raced   Stars and Stripes.  WE WON!!  We each had a job that we had to do to sail the ship.  It turned out to be a blast!!

Alpha Gamma Delta -Gamma Iota's 50th Anniversary

This year my sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, celebrated 50 years at Mercer University! We had a huge reunion weekend. It was a lot of fun seeing some old faces and meeting new sisters too!

The Masters!

Brent had a chance to go to the Masters for 2 days. He went to the Practice Round on Tuesday, then again on Sunday to the Final Round. He was so excited and loved every minute of it!

Tiger Woods
And the Winner Phil Mickelson!! YAY!

My First Business Trip

I had two events in Los Angeles in March for The Scheduling Institute. It was my first official business trip, and I have to say it set the bar very high! We had the events next to LAX but we got to go sight seeing in LA and then stay in a 5 Star hotel our last night in the middle of Beverly Hills!!
The Montage
My Bed! They had pillows with our last name initial on each of our beds! Are ya kidding?
Our view of Beverly Hills--I controlled opening and closing the drapes with the remote control to the TV (as well as the lights and the temperature--haha!)
The Bathroom--and yes thats a TV built into the wall :)
Our living room.

Savannah Again!

Brent and I and another couple went to Savannah for the weekend. We had a wonderful time walking in all the squares, going on ghost tours and movie tours, and of course eating lots of wonderful food!

This is the fountain at Forsyth Park.
The Owen-Thomas House. Its supposedly haunted-but we had a lot of fun walking around looking at all the historic houses!
I just thought this looked creepy!
This is Stratton Leopold. He produced many movies including Mission Impossible 3 and The Wolfman. He also owns an ice cream shop in Savannah.

Travels around Georgia!!

We had a girls trip up to the North Georgia Mountains, its sooo pretty up there!
The Crew! It will be a Bi-Annual trip!!We also had a couples trip to Helen, GA for the North Georgia Corn Maze!

The Maze!We came at the end of the season--hence the dead corn stalks...haha!
This was the hayride we went on as well...kinda lame but we made it fun!!!
The McPheeters---Jumping on the haybails!
And to top it all off, Brent and I went on a romatic getaway to Savannah. We went on a ghost tour, walked down riverstreet a few times, and went to a dualing piano bar. It was a blast! Here is the Savannah River, where we sat on a bench, listened to the street music and talked the night away, watching the boats.
